The Wayne Francis Charitable Trust is a family philanthropic organisation.
We work to create equitable opportunities for Ōtautahi’s young people, their whānau, their communities. We work proactively, growing relationships and contributing resources to support systemic-change.
Our mahi focuses on specific issues within housing, education, the development of the youth sector, mental wellbeing and cancer research.
Bi-culturalism
We acknowledge Māori as Tangata Whenua and our role as Tangata Tiriti.
Strengths Based
We are guided by our strengths to support the mahi of others.
Allyship
We actively support and advocate with those who are marginalised.
CORE VALUES
Participation and Empowerment
We strive to bring more than money to achieve shared goals.
Respectful Relationships
We want to know the people we work with and how we can champion their mahi.
MERI KIRIHIMETE FROM WFCT
In early December, we celebrated the projects, people (and pets) who have been a big part of the 2023.
Thanks again to all of you for supporting us to serve young people and their communities.
